The primary role is to introduce investors to Renewable Energy and infrastructure related projects that fit their mandate.  For project owners to find buyers when an exit or asset reduction is required or for many to help them grow by aligning their interests to that of majority stake hold investors.  The early round of unofficial Due Diligence is designed to replace the throw it at the wall approach and remove the unknowns.  Establishing Land security, FIT, PPA, Grid Connectivity etc are the early steps before introducing Investors to Project owners.
